Studio Director Jillian Galloway loves to share her artistic experience and knowledge with students of all ages. Jillian continues to take Master Classes with the industry's finest with dance masters such as NYC's Doug Shankman. In this way, Jillian brings the best of dance to her students in Northwest Iowa. She has studied under the direction of Gina Chiavelli, an International Judge for the American Academy of Ballet and a former adjunct professor of dance at Fordham University, and renowned dance artists Myra Bazell and Rebecca Malcolm-Naib. Jillian has also studied with the American Academy of Ballet at their summer intensives at Vassar College (Poughkeepsie, NY) and competed in numerous American Academy of Ballet Performance Awards (under the artistic direction of Mignon Furman) earning silver and gold with distinction. She has also received invitations to prestigious dance companies in the Northeast. Her academic dance background includes classical ballet, tap, jazz, and modern technique along with dance history, theory, and choreography. Jillian earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Bryn Mawr College (Philadelphia, PA) in Dance and her Master’s Degree from Creighton University School of Medicine (Omaha, NE).
